Resumen

La economía del conocimiento se explica por el incremento en su intensidad en tres distintas actividades: tecnologías de información y comunicación,  cambio tecnológico y globalización (Montuschi, 2001). Precedida por las economías agrícolas y las industriales; su evolución ha estado marcada por la importancia otorgada a cada factor de creación de riqueza: tierra, trabajo, capital y conocimiento que han variado con el tiempo (Savage, 1991).
