Turismo, redes sociales y representación simbólica: una aproximación crítica a la construcción de imaginarios turísticos rurales.

Resumen

La transformación digital ha reconfigurado la construcción de imaginarios turísticos, especialmente en destinos rurales donde las redes sociales ejercen influencia determinante. Esta investigación empleó una Revisión Sistemática de Literatura basada en metodología PRISMA, analizando 17 publicaciones académicas seleccionadas de 668 artículos iniciales mediante búsqueda en cuatro bases de datos. Los resultados identificaron un modelo cíclico de siete fases interconectadas: motivaciones iniciales, ecosistema de stakeholders, creación de contenido multimodal, mediación algorítmica, formación del imaginario, experiencia de viaje y generación post-experiencia. La investigación reveló que las redes sociales han democratizado la narrativa turística pero generado paradojas entre sostenibilidad y masificación. Se evidenció la necesidad de marcos éticos para la representación digital, considerando que la construcción de imaginarios trasciende aspectos tecnológicos para constituir cuestiones de justicia social y equidad económica en comunidades rurales.
