Resumen

En este trabajo se examinan cinco dimensiones de prácticas de negocios representadas por las estrategias efectividad de diseño, ubicación, relación con clientes, experiencia/conocimiento de empleados y tecnología basada en internet, para determinar su relación con la creación de competencias organizacionales intratégicas y estratégicas, y con la competitividad. Los métodos de regresión lineal y de máxima verosimilitud logit y probit fueron utilizados para analizar los datos recolectados mediante una encuesta aplicada a una muestra de ciento cincuenta empresas del sector industrial del estado de Jalisco.
