Gestión de la sustentabilidad en las cadenas de suministro: Un acercamiento desde la teoría

La tendencia de adoptar las mejores prácticas operacionales como cimiento de una sociedad sustentable, en el marco de los acuerdos de París (2016) para dar respuesta a la crisis ambiental derivada del cambio climático, colocan en el centro del debate el papel de la de la gestión sustentable de las cadenas de suministro de las empresas. Por ello, el estudio tiene como finalidad aportar al debate, desde una aproximación teórica, a la gestión de las cadenas de suministro, a partir de una revisión sistemática de la literatura publicada en el período de 2005 a 2019. En el análisis se encuentra que algunas prácticas sustentables en la gestión de la cadena de suministro desde la triple cuenta han sido reducción de costos de almacenamiento, aprovechamiento de la logística inversa, reducción de desperdicios, alianzas comerciales, compras verdes, comercio justo y aplicación de estándares de calidad.
