Desempeño organizacional en las empresas del sector agropecuario: ¿Qué rol tiene la capacidad de transformación?

Resumen

En un entorno empresarial volátil e incierto, la capacidad de transformación es clave para el éxito a largo plazo. Este estudio analiza la teoría de Capacidades Dinámicas y su rol en el desempeño de empresas agropecuarias en el Sur-Sureste de Jalisco, esenciales para la economía regional. Se llevó a cabo un estudio explicativo con 59 mandos medios y altos, evaluando comportamientos organizacionales relacionados con la capacidad de transformación y su impacto en la rentabilidad y retención de empleados. Los resultados muestran que las empresas poseen comportamientos alineados con la capacidad "Transformar", que se asocia positivamente con el desempeño empresarial. El estudio propone una conceptualización operativa coherente con teorías de organizaciones ambidiestras, gestión del conocimiento y agilidad organizacional. Finalmente, se sugiere investigar microfundamentos para identificar rutinas empresariales que fortalezcan ventajas competitivas.Las limitaciones incluyen el enfoque transversal del estudio y la falta de indicadores específicos para captar las particularidades del sector agropecuario.
