Resumen

La optimización de las cadenas de valor alimentarias es crucial para el desarrollo sostenible y el crecimiento económico. Este estudio desarrolla y aplica una metodología combinada GLOCAL de Cuádruple Hélice para analizar y optimizar la cadena de valor del Maguey-Mezcal. La metodología GLOCAL adapta soluciones globales a contextos locales, mientras que el modelo de Cuádruple Hélice promueve la colaboración entre universidades, industria, gobierno y sociedad civil. El enfoque mixto del estudio utiliza métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos para recolectar y analizar datos de actores de la cadena de valor del Maguey-Mezcal. Se espera que esta metodología mejore la eficiencia y sostenibilidad de la cadena de valor, fortalezca la soberanía alimentaria y genere oportunidades de desarrollo económico local. Los resultados proporcionarán un modelo replicable para otras cadenas de valor alimentarias y una base para futuras investigaciones y aplicaciones prácticas en el desarrollo de cadenas de valor alimentarias.
